HORRIBLE hospital, but probably typical in Las Vegas. I was taken here by ambulance with an MI in progress. The ER staff was WONDERFUL and saved my life. The doctor who placed the stent was fantastic, and the care in CCU was top-notch.
But after leaving CCU, everything took a turn for the worse. My nurse was rude and intentionally insulted me the ONE time all day she entered my room. In other states, discharge meds are ordered to the unit, and patients are escorted out by wheelchair. Here, I had to walk the length of 2 city blocks to get to the hospital pharmacy to get my meds THRRE DAYS AFTER MY HEART STOPPED. Then the pharmacy didn't have a common CARDIAC medication. THIS is care? In what universe?
