  • This is a diesel engine repair shop in North Las Vegas, NV. I own a 1999 RV with a Chevy 6.5 diesel engine. It has 101,000 miles. Recently I took my RV over the Rocky Mountains and had an overheating problem. I took my RV to Powertrain and the owner Tony Salas was very knowledgeable about my particular engine. I left it with his shop and they did an outstanding job of testing everything including the cooling system, fuel lines and the engine itself. They performed the needed repairs and did follow up testing. Their fees were very reasonable and when I picked up my RV, Tony gave a full explanation of everything that was done and what the limitations would be for this particular engine in a heavy RV. He and his staff were very friendly and helpful.
