  • I've only been hear once to drop off a friend for an event they were having but as dive bars go, I think it's the kind of place where anyone can feel welcome walking in. Of course they have video poker and pool tables and a juke box round out the the entertainment. The staff is friendly, but not friendly because they have to be, friendly because they seem to enjoy what they're doing and where they're doing it. There was a 'Mead Hall' going on which is the event I took my friend to and they were just having a blast. The DJ was playing both 'Top 40' music and Pirate folklore to go along with the event. The four stars is for the location. It's not in the best area of town but it's not bad. It's close to Freemont street and a great place if you want somewhere local, low key, and laid back to hang out in. Like every local dive bar they have drink specials. Nothing fancy but you can definitely have a great time without hitting your pocket too hard, or hard at all. I'd definitely go back again. After all, I love me some good dive bars and I would try most things twice.
