A few friends and I went here on 3/18 for a little family-friendly Sunday Funday. My friend has a 4 year old daughter so we wanted to go somewhere with drinks, but appropriate for kids so my friend suggested we go here. I live in Raleigh, but visit Charlotte a lot.
We had brunch right before coming so we were not hungry and didn't try any of the food, but there is a food station for you to order various bar-bites at the front of the bar when you come in. I actually hate I was full because the food looked and smelled great! We went to the bar and ordered mimosas and a beer. Unfortunately I'm not a beer drinker so I didn't order any beers, but they do have what looks like some great options. I personally don't care for Tropicana orange juice which is what they use for the mimosas so I didn't really like my mimosa. Also they poured a bit too much orange juice in it for my liking, but my friend ordered a second one and asked for less juice and it was much better. They also had a special that day for a Shamrock Mule, which was just a Moscow Mule with green liquer for color. It was not good, but I drunk it because I paid for it. I love Moscow Mules, but since this is a beer garden and there probably aren't a lot of people who order liquor based drinks coming here I don't think they have all of the proper ingredients or training to make certain drinks. It's not a huge issue that makes me want to never come back, I just know to keep my drink orders simple when I return.
There's a huge outside area with sand volleyball courts and large-sized games for all ages. This is definitely a great place for all areas. There's also a tented area as well. There's plenty of seating and space and there's a window to the bar from the outside so you don't have to go back inside for more drinks.
I will definitely return! And suggest this for anybody and everybody.
