I've always had really good experiences with Misty Pines. The little interaction I've had with Jeff has always been pleasant and he's always been really helpful and willing to answer my questions and give me detailed explanations which is really nice to understand the why. If you're new to dog ownership or new to your puppy expect to be wrong and get corrected a lot of the time, you're learning and even though they don't sugar coat things I personally appreciate the straight forward answers.
I've have 2 GSDs, both of which have been in the puppy and starter classes with Brett, and in more cases than not if you're a dog owner in the North Hills/Wexford/Cranberry area you know who Brett is. He's really good with the dogs, knows what he's talking about, has a ton of experience doing it, and has the reputation to back it up. The classes are a little more expensive than other places around but if you want quality then you won't mind paying more for it.
The staff is very nice and are very good to my dogs, they greet them cheerfully and know them by name. They require boardatella shots every 6 mo as a precaution to keep all the pets healthy and well.
Misty pines is worth it and I think everyone who has something negative to say needs to understand the culture a little better they are an outstanding resource! Give them a try.
