  • We wanted some good French food while visiting Montreal, and were very happy with the food and service we received at Les Deux Gamins. I started off with the French Onion soup which was great - crusty top, rich broth, mmmm.... I then ordered the Braised Lamb Shank, which was fall-off-the-bone tender and delicious and the shallot sauce was amazing. We also tried a couple of French wines that were excellent - and the overall price of the meal was relatively affordable. It felt like a classic French restaurant in a small, intimate space - the service was excellent. I highly recommend if you are looking for some good French soup and cuisine.
