  • This place started out great when talking with Andrea. I purchased a living social coupon for a 4 week session and knew in advance that we'd need to do a make-up class due to travel. Andrea gave me permission to do that. We attended the first two classes and had a lot of fun. Andrea is a great teacher. They have a practice time schedule they give you so that you can bring your child to open gym essentially. The problem is, the schedule is not clear. I called, left a message about the timing, and no one called me back. The next week was our third class. My son had a fever, I did the responsible thing and skipped class that day to avoid spreading any germs to other kids. I called to let them know and no one answered again. I decided to not leave a message since no one called me back from the week before. I finally got through with a phone call on our week 4. This was the week that we already pre-arranged a different class time. We were unable to make it. When I spoke to the manager, I tried explaining to her all of the details above and was asking about 2 make-up classes now. Instead of initially apologizing for no one calling me back a few weeks ago, she basically said her staff "always" calls people back. Really? So you essentially are calling me a liar then. Great customer service. After a heated discussion, she thought she was being helpful, threw in a lovely dig about how I am going to raise my kids, and continued to make me feel like I was the only person she ever made exceptions for or had an issue with their service. Please. My apologies for not paying full price for your establishment. It regularly costs more than a FAMILY gym membership at a real gym with a pool, classes, machines, etc. Maybe if I didn't use a coupon I would have been treated with more respect. Oh, but wait... All of her other "120" coupon members "never had an issue." Sure. PS- As a side note, I tried explaining to her that it's interesting that she is such a "RULE" enforcer when I witnessed complete flexibility with another mom in one of my classes. She thought I said "rude" which took the conversation to a whole new level. I have no energy talking to managers who won't take responsibility for their employees, who insult my parenting skills, and who think they are hearing me say things that I am not saying. She cut me off many times and at that point, the conversation is over. Here is your review. Enjoy.
