Between one wedding, one dinner, and one happy hour, I overall really like El Chorro.
With the exception of my happy hour visit, service was impeccable. I don't remember his name, but the waiter I had st my birthday dinner was fantastic.
The happy hour menu is awesome. You could easily leave buzzed and stuffed for under $20. Beware- happy hour is only outside or at the bar.
I think the food is good, but not 5 star worthy. I haven't been blown away by anything I've had (save the glory that are the sticky buns), but the food is solid.
What really makes El Chorro great is the overall atmosphere. The staff are great, the restaurant has a cozy and rustic feel, and the views of Camelback are gorgeous.
