| - This review is for the Service side of the business. I scheduled a 30k mile service at a guaranteed price online for an appointment. Upon arrival 5 minutes early, I had to wait 20 minutes to even be recognized by anybody.
Finally, after being acknowledged, I gave the service tech my appointment number, and he asked me for all the information all over again, as if I didn't even schedule an appointment. He quoted me a different price that what was guaranteed on their website (which I had printed out and handed it to him), and he simply said that this is what the computer says the 30k service is. It was only a matter of about $20, and I was in a time crunch, and it had already been 35 minutes since I arrived.
Upon completion, I was given a bill that was even higher than the other price quoted. I had to leave, and decided I would follow up with the service manager and sort out the excess later. I got in touch with Bill Peterson, who apologized for the over charging, and offered to provide me a refund, or a free tire rotation and oil change on my next visit. I agreed to the freebie, and figured that it was about the amount that I was overcharged, so no issue. It has been 3 months, and Bill refuses to respond, and has never sent the freebies. Needless to say, I will be filing a BBB complaint next, and feel that they are operating some "less than ethical" practices over at the service center. I am going to go back to Rock Hill for all future visits, as this location is out to scam you!
