| - WOW! I was referred to Dave by Bell Collision Center. I gave him a call, but couldn't reach him. Found out he was on vacation when he called back a few days later, so it's understandable.
But, since I couldn't reach him, I went on Craigslist and interviewed about 5 people. I found one who seemed to know what he was talking about at a reasonable price. Turns out it was a scam and they did a terrible repair job, including a new half inch hole in the post of the door.
How does this relate to Dave? Well, I called him, explained my situation, and what he responded was incredible. He said he refused to work on my vehicle because someone else had done crappy work on it previously. Not even willing to take a look!
While it's true that they did a crappy job, they only left it slightly worse, which means all the dents should still be workable by someone as skilled as he says. So why the bad attitude and the refusal of service? I even told him to ignore the hole and just help me with the original dents. Still refused.
He might have good skills, but that was terrible customer service and a bad attitude towards customers.
