  • no, No, NO! Do not let these people in your house! In mid-November, the floor in my guest room suddenly started getting squishy and obviously had water under it. Yikes! I called my insurance company: AAA (and that's another story). They told me they would send an appraiser and also Arrow Restoration to "mitigate" the water. I immediately looked on-line for Arrow Restoration, but couldn't find them. Still, I figured my insurance company knew what they were doing. WRONG!! So, Arrow shows up, checks for water, punches holes in my walls checking for asbestos, and pulls up a part of the laminate flooring discovering mold. They roll in a big machine, plug it in and tell me to let it run constantly, which I did. A few days later my insurance company denies my claim, and Arrow Restoration returns and takes away their machine which had done NOTHING except make a horrible racket (kept me awake for many hours) and run up my electric bill. End of story? No way! In mid-February -- over two months later -- I get a phone call from someone named Gillian telling me I owe hundreds of dollars for work done at my house. WHAT??? Oh, yes, she says, they "mitigated" my water problem and I now owe them a huge amount of money. I asked for a detailed statement and a few days later got a statement for the entire amount with no details such as hours worked, cost per hour, what the work was ... nothing. Just that I owed hundreds of dollars. Without going into detail, let me just say that Gillian made my life a living nightmare, calling me daily, texting, e-mailing and threatening to take me to court if I didn't pay up. I asked for the name of the owner of the company which she did not want to give me. It's public record -- but here's something interesting -- I could find no business license for Arrow Restoration. How about that sports fans? It seems they work under Ute Construction and only after searching the internet was I able to find the licensing information for Ute Construction on, of all places, their Facebook page. I wrote to the owner, Mrs. Jewell Creigh, outlining the situation and asking again for a detailed statement. Nothing. After Gillian's last call, I sent a certified letter to Mrs. Creigh telling her to either send a detailed account of the work they think they did or to stop harassing and threatening me. I haven't heard a word since, and that was 3 weeks ago. If my experience is how they do business, believe me, you would do well to find another company.
