  • I originally wanted to go to Helen because she seemed to be great with Asian hair, but I'm so disappointed. I showed her a specific picture of what I wanted (a balayage starting a few inches below the root) and I ended up with borderline white bleached, streaky highlights on my natural black hair starting at the roots of my hair. The highlights were not dispersed evenly. The toner her assistant used did not evenly coat my hair. I would not recommend my highlighting experience and will need to get color correction to fix my hair.
