  • Our heat went out 2 nights ago. A worker from George Brazil came over and did the inspection. He said the compressor, refrigerant, filter, capacitors plus labor would be $3848.28 and that the warranty on the work would be good for a year. If we bought a new unit it would be around 9000 but it would include duct work and all the other bells and whistles. Not having the money and not sure I really wanted to finance for a new unit I told him we would think about it. He wasn't pushy and he said he wouldn't be and that was nice. So now I am sitting here in my WARM house and i still have money to feed my family, my mortgage, my car payment and utilities. All it ends up being is the blower! The BLOWER!! How can you guys that work at George Brazil check the unit if the most basic part doesn't even WORK?! I trusted this company. I trusted you and you committed the ultimate sin and I do not trust you guys at all. I don't trust you with my family, friends and anyone else who thinks they are getting a good deal and end up getting ripped off. I am so upset. My kids were cold last night when all that needed to happen was replace a new blower!!! I bet that would have cost about 1000 dollars to do right? Pathetic. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The service manager called me right after he got my email and is handling this promptly. They want to fix their mistake and that is great customer care. This was the email I got "Got them and thank you very much! I appreciate you sending the copies over and apologize for the inconvenience we have caused you. I will start the refund process for 85.00 tomorrow and you should receive it in 2-4 weeks.
