I delivered a successful VBA2C last week in the care of PC4W at Banner Del Webb. I switched offices around 22 weeks pregnant because my original OB was not supportive of my choices. Dr. Newman was more than prepared to answer any question I had regarding a VBAC and was realistic about risks. I appreciated his no nonsense approach.
I met with all the midwives and every single one of them connected with me and knew my history. The midwives are respected at the office and at the hospital just like doctors are. I was thrilled that I was in capable hands at all times! They stuck to my birth plan even when I doubted myself, they encouraged me and had faith. As a result I was fully aware during my entire birth experience and I was able to be the first person to hold my baby! I have had a much easier recovery than I did with my former cesarean births, and I can care for my other children easily. I left the hospital 25 hours after delivery feeling great with an extremely healthy newborn.
If you want to be heard, be in control of your medical choices, and have support during your pregnancy, THIS is the office to go to. They gave me one of the most important experiences of my life.
