| - I have lived here 2 years and will probably be my last year. While they claim to be a luxury apartment complex, it's gone downhill. When I first moved in, the grounds were kept clean. Now, I can honestly say it's far from luxury standards. The Corporate "owners ", I am told, apparently prefer the landscaping to appear au natural. Well, let me tell you, if that means twigs, leaves, dog crap, and garbage then they surely got their wish. For the price I am paying to live here, I expect to able to walk around without disgust and embarrassment.
On the plus side, the rooms are good size and the appliances are pretty good. The maintenance staff are very nice and keep up with the work orders.
The security here needs to be better. Honestly, I think there needs to be cameras installed. They have 1 security guard that walk the property at night, but this property is very large so it's easy to for a thief to maneuver around him.Always lock your garage doors! I forgot once, and my bike was stolen. I also saw some people trying to break into my storage room on my deck (I live on the 1st floor).
Also, I was told when I first moved in that after a year If I renewed my lease, I am allowed certain upgrades. After I renewed after a year 1/2 , the upgrades weren't available anymore. Instead, they gave me a coupon for either a carpet cleaning or a vent cleaning, of which I had to pay for.
It's unfortunate, because while the staff is friendly, I feel that management has their hands tied and are at the mercy of Corporate's bidding.
All I can say if you want to live here is do your due diligence.
