| - Stacey is an amazing therapist, with a kind heart, who really cares about her clients. After a kickboxing class in October, I left with really tight hip flexors and tight low back. The next day I couldn't stand up straight, a few days later I was experiencing excruciating pain in my hip, which eventually escalated into intense pain in my leg and I couldn't stand, walk, sit, or lie down comfortably for a few months. I was in so much pain I would break down and cry multiple times a day. This kept me off from work for three months. Before I found Stacey, I visited multiple chiropractors, massage therapists, physical therapists, and a general practitioner, all offering little to no relief. I was treated for muscle knots, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, bulging disc, and sciatica. Nobody could tell me exactly what was wrong or how to fix it. My MD prescribed pain pills and muscle relaxers and bed rest for two months, which I was wary of. I didn't want to take pain pills to mask the problem, I wanted to fix what was wrong with my body. When I was finally able to get an MRI, the results showed bone spurs on my sacrum , minimal disc degeneration, and slight scoliosis. Meanwhile, the doctor bills were adding up, the pain was getting worse, and there was absolutely no way I could go to work.
In my past life I was a licensed massage therapist and heard about myofascial release in school, so I decided to give it a try. I wish I found Stacey two months earlier!!! She helped me become pain free and enabled me to finally return to work within a few weeks. It is obvious that she has attended extensive training and has done a lot of research and continues to research. Stacey is a wealth of knowledge and a very skilled massage therapist with a healing touch. She is flexible with her scheduling and I felt like she really wanted to help me get better, which was completely opposite of how I felt at my regular MD. I HIGHLY recommend.
