  • Food/Daytime - 2 Stars I came here one day to watch a basketball game and ordered a chicken sandwich thing, which was ok. I've had better and would have much rather ordered a sandwich somewhere down the street for the same price. I won't come back for the food. College Bar/Nightlife - 4 Stars The building itself is pretty big, relatively clean and interesting with the outside, bottom floor, and upstairs. The decor is nice as well and fits in as a college bar. The upstairs dancing is my favorite part, seeing as I came there to let loose with some coeds. The bartenders are actually pretty good and the best of the college bars around Madison I have been to. I know one guy who works as a bartender there and he has been working there for a long time before becoming a bartender. Most of the college bars just hire hot sorority girls, who often don't know how to bar tend. You have one or two of them at Brats, but most of the bartenders know a little about quickly serving decent drinks. Security could be a little more efficient.
