My husband and I just purchased a new home, so we wanted to upgrade our furniture. We have gone to walker furniture before and have never had a problem before. The staff was always helpful and the delivery service was prompt and and delivered everything we had purchased until this week.
We went in on March 3rd to purchase a few things for the new house. And have been waiting for the furniture to arrive since then, which wasn't the problem. We knew they had to be shipped, etc. what we were upset about and not pleased with is the fact that when they delivered the items we had missing pieces to our bedroom set. The delivery guys couldn't put the bed together because we're were missing the footboard and also half a box spring for our king bed that we purchased somewhere else. The delivery guy blamed the warehouse for not placing the items together. We called customer service and explained what happened. The lady on the phone had to transfer me to the manager. He stated it was the sales persons fault for not charging us for the other half of the box spring. And both pieces were going to be delivered the next day.
The next day a different delivery guy came and dropped off just the box spring, he stated that's all the warehouse gave him. When the day before I spoke to the manager and confirmed we were going to be delivered the footboard and the other half of the King box spring. When he spoke to the warehouse dept. they went ahead and stated we would have to wait til Monday. We told them we would not wait until Monday to confirm and if it wasn't fixed we would return the whole purchase. This is unacceptable. They finally agreed to deliver today. So now here we are two days later three deliveries later and patiently waiting on the footboard.
