  • I love Hess's! I was assigned to Dr. Andrew for my therapy. About 3 months ago I had surgery on my thumb. This was the 4th surgery that I had had in my hand. The other surgeries, I was able to recover from quickly. I had severe pain in my thumb and the only option that I had was PT. So, I searched for a Physical Therapy office in the Pittsburgh area and found Hess Physical Therapy. I read their review and decided to give the office a call. The office staff was very accommodating. I have a super busy schedule and they were more than willing to accommodate my crazy schedule. When I arrived for my 1st appointment, I was called back within 5 minutes. I met Dr. Andrew and he evaluated my poor, sore, thumb. He explained to me the course of action that we were going to take to improve my situation. For the next 5 weeks, 3 times a week, I attended PT. We did exercising, heat therapy, stim, and massage for my hand. After 5 weeks of following Dr. Andrew's advise, my thumb is healed and is working properly. Hand down (no pun intended) Dr. Hess's Pysical Therapy office is the best in Pittsburgh. I have pain in my neck and I will be going back to Dr. Andrew for PT. I know I am in good hands at Hess.
