We came here for Christmas Day dinner. We did this three years ago. We thought it would be fun to go to the M, but when we arrived, the line was insanely long. We then went to the Rio and that was just as worse. We then went to Makino and had no problem getting a table, however it was 8:30 that time. We arrived just before 5 and there was already a line that snaked around their entrance. When we reached the front, they gave us a table in the back corner.
It was very cozy in there on this day. The line snaked around the buffet line and the sushi area and then down one aisle right in front of our table. My parents got in line, but we stayed at the table. My dad brought us plates just in case they ran out...LOL! When the line seemed to get shorter, my parents were at the end of the sushi so we cut in front...lol! This place is Japanese food heaven! You can get handmade rolls as well, which seemed to hold up the line. I grabbed another plate and decided to fill both up since I did not want to stand in line again. Only got a couple inaris, but no other sushi. My favorite were the ribs! They had just come out of the oven and were so tender! I also liked the spicy short ribs...they had a little kick to them! Great kale salad!
This was the last buffet for the year! And we have a new tradition now if we come back during Christmas.
