  • I have been to the original Vig location many times and absolutely love the food. I was a huge fan of the original menu so was not happy when they changed it up. I agree with most all of the positive reviews of both locations. Great food, great atmosphere, interesting menu. I do find it to be a bit pricey, and was very disappointed when making my first visit to the "uptown" location that they had made the same mistake in design that they did with the original. The acoustics are horrid! Impossible to carry on a conversation with your companions, hearing conversations from the other end of the room, and everyone yelling to be heard. I sent a comment to the manager at the original location about that, and even suggested a way to improve the acoustics. It however fell on deaf ears and I was told to come at a later, less busy time.
