  • I rented a car recently from the Pittsburgh airport. When I got my AMEX bill I also found that I had been charged $336.00 for someone else's rental. I have spoken to National Car rental customer service several times. They confirmed that the charge was an error. But they claim they cannot credit my account. Only the local office can credit my account. But the National Car rental office in Pittsburgh refuses to credit. If am an Emerald Club member. Imagine how they would treat regular customers. DON'T EVER RENT FROM NATIONAL.
