| - Wednesday, lunch. Haven't been here in over a year, due to mixed feelings about the place.
So, nice atmosphere. Our server John, young Asian, guy was excellent. Very accommodating. Started with a California roll, while waiting for the rest of the group. Poorest excuse I've had for one of these, and I I've eaten thousands. Just poorly made.
I ordered a bento box
Tried the miso soup, flavor profile mostly warm water. Sent it back, replaced by salad. Mediocre spring mix, with some sticky sweet watery dressing.
So far, 3 down.
Gyoza, actually pretty good. Could have used some peanut sauce.
Egg roll, ok, a bit greasy.
Fried rice, ok, not much flavor. Walnut shrimp was best item of the day, nice shrimp, but coated with an overly gooey sweet sauce.
Two others had Singapore noodles, and enjoyed them.
Another had the orange chicken, generous portion, and liked it.
Overall, nice space with good service. GET A NEW CHEF, and give more value, or I predict you will not survive in this restaurant atmosphere!!!!!
