| - You know when you go to Vegas, and there's always some place that someone recommended in the back of your mind - "OH I went to Vegas, and the so-and-so buffet was so good! You have to try it!" The Buffet was that place for us this time around - we have no idea who recommended it, but it was recommended.
There's the usual variety - cold seafood appetizers, salad, ethnic entrees, hot carving station, and dessert. Much like the so-modern-that-it's-boring decor, everything was just ho-hum. The only things that wow'ed me were the crème brûlée and flan. Maybe it's just me, but I've gotten used to Vegas buffets always having one or two or ten amazing items - whether it's great prime rib, fresh fish, or oysters - gimme something to make my friends jealous with "OMG you have to try this at The Buffet!" Sadly, there was none of that here - just an empty feeling inside and an empty wallet outside.
