| - Well, everything from my previous review still stands, so go read it first.
I went back about 3 weeks after having gone the first time. Jin remembered my name, thanked me for my previous Yelp review, and then we got down to business. It was Monday at 6 PM and I don't know if this is a normal time for a restaurant to be busy, but they were fairly busy. It really emphasized how small the place is, with just 5 tables and a small counter. I saw a couple of customers peek their head in and say something like "Oh they're so busy" and immediately leave. Shame, really.
I got a grilled chicken combo with fries and also got the weekly special, chicken nachos. I'm a food nit so I got the nachos without pico de gallo, onions, or sour cream. Still, though, they were excellent and a larger serving size than I expected. The tortilla chips aren't overly salty, the cheese reminds me of Taco Bell nacho cheese (a good thing IMO), the beans and chicken add some flavor and texture. Note that the chicken is shredded and seasoned -- it's not large chunks like if they had cut up some of their strips. I think Jin should add nachos (with or without cheese) to his menu as a side item permanently, rather than rotating the weekly specials. The grilled chicken strips are great. I felt like they were smaller than the big fried strips I got the first time I was there, but the taste was great.
Service, as usual, was great and fast. Prices are excellent, as usual -- less than $10 for the combo and the weekly special combined. What more could you want? Too bad it's a 25 minute drive for me :(
