  • This is a horrible company. Do not select your own contractor and pay for the work up front because HSA will provide every excuse possible to avoid paying the invoice. HSA approved my plumbing repair issues and I submitted my invoice via email for reimbursement 2.5 months ago. I received an auto response email immediately indicating that my claim had been received and would be processed. After over 30 days I called to check on the status of my claim and was told that HSA had no record of my claim. The representative indicated she would "'research" my claim and get back with me in a few days. Weeks went by without a call back so I once again called to check on my claim. On my second call it was confirmed that my claim had in fact been received but HSA claimed it would reimburse me $100 less than what I was owed. The amount they had in their system for one of my repaired items was $100 less than stated on my invoice. They confirmed that they had the invoice but they had to "research" why it was $100 less in their system. Another 1.5 weeks went by without a response to I called back a third time. After waiting on hold for over 40 minutes (the first 2 calls were closer to an hour each) I was told that the Claims Review office was closed so the representative could not help me. I just finished my fourth call that lasted just under an hour again. The representative told me that "Andrew" from the Claims Review office would call me right back because she was unable to transfer me. I am still waiting on his call, and still waiting on my $555 reimbursement.
