  • The Westin housed our summer vacation in the desert. Things we loved: - The Kierland Mining Company: compass hunt. What a great way to get acquainted with the property and get the kids involved. My boys loved collecting the stamps and ultimately the cool pins from the stamps! - Great pools: we spent our mornings in the pool and the lazy river. It was labor day week and the pools were not crowded at all! Clean and perfect temperature the whole time. The service was also amazing. As soon as you find your chairs, someone has already brought out a pitcher of water and cups for you. - Beautiful: as we walked throughout the property, we admired all the beautiful artwork on the walls, the candles lit every night, the pristine landscaping - The rooms were clean and updated. - The service throughout the property were fantastic with all staff and employees always greeting you in random places. - We enjoyed the breakfast buffet the Nellie Cashman's. - The shuttle bus across the street to all the restaurants was so convenient. - Flowrider!!! Must try this! - The gym was clean and all the equipment worked well. Things we hope will improve: - We must of had an older bed because it wasn't so heavenly. In fact, we had a hard time sleeping at night. :( Thanks Westin for a fantastic vacation. We will come visit again.
