| - First and foremost, Gäbi's beautiful, rustic, historic atmosphere is a must see. It's a place two of my friends and I had to see for ourselves!
Pros;
*Atmosphere was amazing, beautiful, rustic, open, airy and historic yet chic.
*Food was great! We tried;
- Matcha strawberry cake. This was amazing, light, fluffy, had the right amount of sweet, you could taste the matcha in the cake, while the center had a fluffy cream cheese taste to it.
- Matcha red bean bun was hands down a favorite. The bun was flavored perfectly with matcha while the red bean center was just the perfect amount of sweet! Must try.
- Lychee rose cake, was good. Very fluffy, wish it had more if a lychee taste but was good over all.
- Rainbow cake; sad to say but this was very bland. No real flavor, it was like white cake with food coloring and cool whip in the center. :( good for kids tho.
- Salmon and Avacado Brioche; both were amazing!! Flavored beautifully! The smoked salmon was on point, smoky, just the right amount of salt along with a ceaser salad that was absolutely delish!
- Ice blended matcha with chocolate; so good!! Just buy it!
*Customer service was great! Very warm and friendly they even helped take pics of us! Super sweet!
Cons;
Seating availability.
I understand this happens, especially when it's a new hot spot; but we came in at 3pm and stood around a good 20 mins waiting for people to leave, so we could sit down. This whole time we noticed a group of 6 people who had no food, no coffee and took up 2 extra seats saying they were "using" them. Let me tell you, we were there for 2 hours and they didn't use those seatsat all. They were still there even as we left, still no coffee or food. Wish they would put a limit on wifi freeloaders so others could enjoy the atmosphere.
