| - On several recent visits, which actually average out to about 2 1/2 stars, I have drawn some new conclusions about this Middleton staple. When the boss is around, their margin of error seems to be lower. To backtrack, our plucky server was charged with taking care of 2/3rds of a dining room, which is why I don't blame what happened in my second visit on her. As a weekend special, Sofra's lamb shank is a steal at $12.95. The initial of the two recent visits featured an ample and steaming shank, with a baseball sized serving of mashed potatoes and also at least a cup and a half of green beans. On the second visit, the shank was served slightly above tepid, and the sides portions were (to put it politely) meager. I sent it back to be reheated, but the temperature was the same at presentation. Had the boss been around on the second occasion, I am sure he would have made things right, but I didn't see anyone who looked to be in charge.
