Laying in bed for the rest of the night avoiding the world and the cold...YUP! (~o~)
during my trip to Pittsburgh i stayed at the omni William penn hotel...A lot of it depends on pricing...but if you're willing to pay a little more for the downtown hotels...that's definitely where you should be....From downtown....you can walk to the cultural district...market square... the strip district...the North Shore... and it's just a mile walk to Station Square or a quick cab ride to the South Side....super convent...loved it!!!
Plus...there's tons of restaurants located near the hotel...Off the top of my head... there's the omni william penn hotel (with a great restaurant inside of it) especially for Sunday brunch!! Omni William Penn (probably Pittsburgh's best hotel)...hotel is actually rated four stars...the staff told me it would be a five star hotel if they had a pool...which made me laugh a little...
my room looks like a hurricane just rolled through every night...room service helped fix that issue quickly...service is fast and reliable...every morning call up valet and they have the car ready and heated ...love the fact i can call valet parking in my room and they bring the car out in less then ten mins...i never had that type of service in the many hotels iv stayed in...there's complementary beverages every morning when you wake up...i will say this the hotel is someone outdated...but interior of this hotel is still one of the best compared to the other hotels located around downtown...
PS: there's a Starbucks located inside the hotel!!!
