| - So, Im reading all of these reviews and its a known fact that most people with negative experiences will post a rant, but all of the good experiences never get posted. With that in mind, I will give my experience here. I have been here a little under 2 years. I have a studio and since it is just me, its perfect. Are these apartments fancy? No Up to date, not particularly.
BUT, they are affordable, a great location and quiet. In the main building where I am, it is very quiet. In two years, I have NEVER seen a bug and have never had to spray.
I keep my apt clean so that tends to help with any possible bug problem. I don't leave food laying around, dirty dishes in the sink or full trash cans sitting for days. I have never been charged any additional fees for anything, but I pay my rent on time each month and I don't complain or cause problems or make ridiculous demands.
My soft top on my convertible did get cut open one night in an attempt at stealing my car, and I too was told that the cameras were not currently working, and yes occasionally the laundry room is not working at full capacity. But people come on, show me ONE apartment complex anywhere that has NO car break ins, or has perfectly working laundry rooms at all times.
I too have had less than stellar assistance in the office, BUT that is only about 25% of the time. The other times, I have been treated well and the several times I have needed maintenance, they were there within a day, fixed my issue and they were on their way.
I have never seen a homeless man in the laundry room, felt unsafe, or saw shady things like drug deals going down...and once again, drugs are rampant in a college area and that is going on everywhere. My air has always worked very well and the biggest complaint I have is that there is NO counter space in my kitchen, literally. I would love to have a dishwasher, or a Jacuzzi but this isn't where you move to have a ton of amenities, its where you move to be close to ASU and save money.
The stories about the bedbugs could have been feasible when they had carpets in the units, but now it is all linoleum and like I said, I never see bugs, ever.
I also don't have great reception in my apt so it makes it difficult to talk on my phone, but that could just be MY location. I LOVE the pool area, sitting area and fire pit.
For the reviewers that say the office is "targeting" them, that is just ludicrous. With all of the apartments they manage, I highly doubt they have the time to "target" anyone. People who are problem tenants will have problems, that is anywhere! Not just here. Be the same type of tenant at any other complex, you will get the same attitudes from the staff.
So, that is that. You get what you pay for. If you want tons of amenities, stellar service,
fancy apartments and people to kiss your butt, then choose a property where you're paying double or even triple the rent and I'm sure that's what you'll get!! Have a great day!
