I have been to Steeling Home a couple of times to pick up some Christmas gifts in the last month. I love all the cool stuff they carry...but I don't care for the sales staff. They were rude to me, unhelpful and didn't bother to smile or say thank you when I handed over my money. I'm a pretty happy, smiley person. I find it sad and frustrating that there are people working in the retail/service industry that can't be bothered to at least be somewhat pleasant!? There are tons of other funky little gift shops in the city that will happily take my hard earned cash with a smile.
Edit: I noticed that there was another review for Steeling Home that was filtered out. The writer mentioned that the staff ignored her and started vacuuming 20 minutes before the store closed. This also happened to me while I was shopping there. It was at least a half hour before closing. She was kind enough to sigh loudly when I stepped passed her vacuum on the way out. Nice.
