  • Recently, while pet-sitting for my neighbors' lovely and well-behaved young whippet, she was viciously attacked by a neighbor's pit bull. Fortunately, I was able to snatch the poor pup up just in time to avert life-threatening injury. The pit bull inflicted several bite wounds; moreover, the injured dog seemed to go into shock shortly after. I called Big Easy, went immediately there, and was delighted with the quality of care. The staff ALL gave compassionate, efficient, technically skilled, optimistic, reassuring care to the whippet. I am happy to report the dog has fully recovered emotionally as well as physically! And was glad to learn the hospital will be expanding this summer to include day care, boarding, a pet-friendly cafe - seriously - what's not to love?
