| - This review is for the super dissapointing delivery I recently tried.
I ordered a 10" Grilled Veggie Pizza ($13), garlic braids (2 for $5) and an antipasto salad ($9).
Upon opening the boxes, we were absolutely ripped off.
Veggie pizza: the description claims a wide variety of grilled veggies, and being the most expensive pizza on the menu, I wrongfully assumed there would be a decent amount of toppings. There was almost a handful of nearly minced indistinguishable veggies. While the crust was pretty decent, paying $13 for a 10" pizza with a sad handful of mushy veggies is insane. The crust is decent and buttery, the sauce is unremarkable.
The antipasto salad didn't have two of the items in it that was listed on the menu. This one also doesn't have lettuce, even though all the others do, but they don't note that on the menu either. I guess that's my fault for assuming.
The garlic braids were overdone and almost tasted microwaved since they were so dry. I was also really dissapointed only two braids were included. Really? Over $2 a piece for that dry wad of dough? Dominos even makes better breadsticks.
The delivery guy also didn't bring silverwear or napkins, and since we were at the Dog Bar (and had a conversation with the person on the phone about it while ordering- so they knew we weren't at home or anything) and after vastly overtipping, the delivery guy blamed the order-taker for not letting him know we'd want silverwear or napkins. I've also never had a delivery guy that doesn't have these extra items in his car, or offer to go pick up the missing salad toppings and silverwear. I expect too much from highschool stoners I guess.
Summary: super overpriced and unimpressive. Pizza Revolution is WAY better for similar prices (I'm fine paying extra if its worth it). The amount of toppings they put on there pizzas alone creams this place.
I won't be trying this restaurant out again, the prices are too high to gamble with what I can only project to be mediocre overpriced food.
