What can I say that hasn't already been said? It's a large, Chinese grocery store, that's cleaner than Oceans/Yuan Ming/BTrust/other ghetto Asian places. Having said that, it's also a tad more expensive. So Whitey approved!
Produce looks fresher than those cheaper, dirtier places, and probably keeps longer as well.
Lotsa different sections to feast your eyes on: Sushi (nigiris particularly hard, probably shaped in ice cube trays), dim sum, takeout prepped food, frozen stuff, bakery, produce, fish, meats, you name it!
I find that all the bakery stuff, made by T&T tastes all the same, despite their different names/shapes. Takeout food starts at $5.99 for 2 dishes + rice/soup. Only do it during the desperate times 'cause I think it's a bit on the salty side, MSG guaranteed!
Most of the time, parking lot/lines seem as though Armageddon is coming, so try to go on off-times, stay away on weekends, unless you enjoy driving around, looking for a spot/waiting in-line.
Peeve: What irks me is that if they're selling, for example 2 Haagen Daz ice creams for $8.88, you HAVE TO buy 2 in order to get the deal!
Otherwise, no real complaints. Great place to look at weird packaging, items, ethnic foods/snacks! See pics.
