I have been using this dentist out of pure convenience bc it is close to my home. I received a call from them letting me know that I was due for a cleaning, so on the spot I scheduled one for about a week out. Upon taking time out of my day and showing up for my appt. I was then told I needed a full mouth of X rays. (I don't have dental insurance currently and was also not told this over the phone.)I let them know that I was simply here for a cleaning. The service I was contacted about via telephone. I also let her know I had just had a full mouth of X rays done a few months prior for an invisalign consult at another dentist.
The girl was super sweet and explained to me that it was a liability and to have another dentist who I had just been to a few months prior send over my X-rays or they refused to do the simple cleaning. I don't have time to chase them down and wait for them to fax over my records, I understand that it can be a liability but I don't think it's fair to blind side a patient once they are sitting in your chair. Not cool. You have lost a patient. I won't be back.
