  • Frequent car renter, first time using Ace. First, the rental place is not at the car rental center. Probably a detail in the fine print so not a big deal. The shuttle van from the car rental center to Ace is about every 20 minutes. It is a small passenger van, so be ready to not be on the first shuttle. The Ace office is a small office in a strip mall with some other company's name on it. The line was a little long but that's pretty standard. The counter person was very very pushy about upgrading, and getting the extra extra insurance. When the car was brought around it was super dirty. Inside and out. Looks like it had just been dropped off and not been looked at before they gave it to us. I am in no way a snob about how the car looks, but come on people. An in-between customer wash and vacuum should be pretty standard. The car drove fine so no problems there. It didn't have tabs on the Pennsylvania license plate so, not sure if that's a big deal, but never seen that before. Dropping the car off was quick and no hassle. We called for our own transportation to the airport because, at this point, we were done with Ace. Done!
