| - DO NOT USE FRAMELESS GLASS! STAY AWAY! They deserve NEGATIVE STARS IF ANY!
Ron is no longer the owner, and for good reasons. We had an estimate completed this past February and it took weeks for the estimate to arrive, and weeks for follow up after we had already emailed and called to say we wanted to move forward. Very disappointing as we had met him and his estimator and contractor in person. Should have gone with my gut instinct when I met him. Something seemed off. We made a deposit for 11 windows including 2 doors, and additional wall construction/stucco for our home early April 2018. We were told 5-6 week turn around before they would call back to schedule install appointment since it would take time to get the glass ordered, and to get us in their schedule. We called May 24, and were informed by their receptionist (Zee?) that the windows were ordered and scheduled to arrive on the 24th and would call us back. Did they call back no. We followed up via email and call memorial weekend, to finally get a call back from Zee (again the receptionist - not the initial estimator, and not Ron the so called "owner"). She stated our windows were never ordered. We asked for a refund and she said it wouldnt be an issue. An hour later she calls back to tell us that "Ron the owner" has informed her that they can't issue deposits back. No where in email or in our signed contract does it state this. Then Zee informs us that a merger occurred with a company called Vision Glass (?) out of California (you will have a hard time finding info for this company or a contact, so good luck!). Via Zee, the new owners would not respond to us or talk to us regarding the situation and said that this was Ron's issue to deal with. Ron will not take your call or email you back. Now they won't answer calls period -- believe me, Ive tried with different #'s and multiple emails. The only resolution they would give me was that I would have to pay a joint check (WTF!) to fulfill the order to get the windows purchased and then another 5-6 week turn around to get the windows shipped and installed. Then we were informed the cost of the windows / materials was less than the original deposit we made, so they have our money, they won't refund, they said they don't have money to buy the windows, and want more money. Zee also mentioned that she received an email from Ron that he would not refund, and would forward to us, and did she? NOPE! FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD!!!! BAD Business Ethic, BAD customer service, BAD experience. DO NOT EVEN BOTHER! Waste of your time, effort, and money. We will be reporting against the Arizona Contracts, Attorney General, and BBB. This company is done right dishonest. Biggest assumption, Ron was a sleazy business person behind on his accounts; had to sell his assets to make even; found another sleazy dishonest company out of CA to take over his business. I feel bad for Zee, she seemed very collected and professional the FEW times we had dialog.
We've since got new estimates from other contractors with great Yelp ratings and better customer service. One contractor even guessed the company without us eluding to FRAMEless glass. And apparently this company is having a bad rep in the window industry in Phoenix, and is defaulted on their accounts with Simonton Windows (and who knows what other manufacturers).
