  • I have to give this hospital props for their cardiac unit. Like any hospital, if you come in with heart attack symptoms (chest pain, shortness of breath, numbness in arm), you will NOT hafta wait in Emerg! Patients in the cardiac ward will usually be in a private room, newer ward, with like 1 nurse for every other patient. And just like any hospital, you will encounter incompetent/rude nurses,doctors, orderlies, volunteers, etc. but that will be the case anywhere else you go. There are good and also not-so-good workers; smart and not-so-smart people. A hospital cannot be 100% perfect, but so far I've been pretty satisfied with the treatment there. P.S. Hospital parking is expensive!!! $3 for each 20 minutes, max $16/day. And of course, all the public areas right around the hospital are patrolled - or at least marked as private property.
