I was referred to this office for my 13 week and 20 week ultrasounds as my Ob/Gyn does not do these in their office. The front desk staff is poorly trained and rude. When they called to confirm my first appointment I was informed of a rather high co-pay (double was my insurance has listed for a specialist), the girl on the phone could not explain why. For my second visit the co pay was less than half of the first visit, I again asked why and was told because I was seen on such and such date. I had to ask the girl 5 times before she finally told me the difference. Each time I asked she had to put me on hold and ask someone else, each time she came back with the same answer. She had no idea what was going on in her own place of employment.
When I arrived for my 20 week scan, the girl at the front wanted to confirm my address. She rattled off addresses of three different patients before I finally just provided her my address. A different girl walked us to our room, she was rude and made me very uncomfortable. She told me I needed to undress completely, I thought I was only there for an ultrasound. I asked why and she said well you don't have to if you don't want to. Of course I don't, I have a Dr. who can check me and I do not know these Dr.'s. She then said "Fine!" and slammed the door as she left. When I say she slammed the door, I mean anough to make my 8 year jump. The ultrasound tech came in and did apologize for the girls and was very nice and comforting.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF POSSIBLE, with my middle child I went to Desert Perinatel for high risk monitoring. Desert Perinatel is warm, welcoming and very well informed. High Risk Pregnancy Center makes an uncomfortable situation worse.
