  • This bakery is one of my routine stop after shopping at Mekong Supermarket given it is conveniently located right in the plaza. I first decided to check out this place given it looks clean and neat, and has not been disappointed by the variety of the pastry/bread available, and they seem to be very fresh To test out the qualify of an asian bakery, the first try always go to either their "Bolo Bao" (aka pineapple bread, and no it has nothing to do with pineapple) or egg tart. They are decent, but I certainly had better even in the valley (bakery in side 99). Though I was pretty impressed with the "Apollo bread", that is good. If you happened to be in Mekong, this is a good place to stop to pick up breakfast for the week (instead of buying bread sitting out for a while from the supermarket).
