  • Didn't even get a chance to try their food. After walking for half an hour down Downtown Gilbert for my father's birthday, we decided to settle at Postino's. It was pretty busy and there was a group of two ladies in front of me. The workers didn't greet us and decided to help the two ladies but never came back. We sat there waiting for over 10 minutes and no one updated us to say there were no seats or anything, we were not spoken to even when the employees clearly saw us. We left after a while because of this unprofessional behavior. It then occurred to me that it could have been the fact that we were Asian? They decided to help the American ladies who were dressed "nicer" but our family wasn't even dressed inappropriately for the occasion, we were dressed in "going out to dinner" attire. *Not that what you wear should determine whether or not you eat.* I hope they know my mother worked as a waitress (my sister and I as well for a while) and knew the exact struggles of being one so our whole family usually tips very well. Too bad they will never see it from us! Sucks to see no one decided to help us when we arrived and stayed around. I want to try this restaurant but definitely not this location. Never coming back!
