  • Can't go wrong with a visit to DLUX. This is my fourth time here and I've left happy and full each time! Tonight's visit was a Father's Day celebration - he wanted a burger and a beer, so downtown we came! It's a great atmosphere - TVs if you want to catch a little sports, fun artwork on the walls, and bar and table seating alike. We ordered the buffalo chicken nachos to start and they were fantastic. Even if you wouldn't normally get a buffalo chicken style dish, I recommend - I don't believe you'll be disappointed. They cover pub chips with a great flavored cheese sauce, green onions, fresh tomatoes, blue cheese and shredded chicken covered in a hot sauce - perfect amount of heat for me (normally sticking with the mild option). I tried the Sugar Mama cocktail and loved it - grapefruit not too overpowering and the hint of St. Germain was awesome. I'll admit I don't branch away from the Standard burger because....well, why? It's perfect. I've tried most of the fries and they are probably my least favorite part of the menu - after sampling those pub chips I'll get those next time if I need a side, or maybe that Asian slaw I was left wishing I hard ordered! My vegetarian daughter said "best I've ever had" regarding the white bean patty she subbed in for the standard.
