| - This is an old looking and dated place that thinks he's a JW, don't look even close to it but charges accordingly as if it were JW. I paid $280 ( including parking) for a night in a very small and dated room in a low floor overlooking the parking. Extremely annoying since if you look in their website they publish a rate half that price - so you wanna tell me I paid double and got their garbage view?
I'm sure the nearby courtyard or townplace are looking much better and newer from the inside and charges more reasonable prices. The wall paper in my room was old, chipped and dirty. The shower is dated and didn't look clean at all and the towels very thin and weary. The bath product are good, however the towels looked much like used YMCA towels and not Marriott towels.
The bed though was the known comfortable clean Marriott bed with soft sheets and I did sleep well.
The underground parking is a good touch, but the elevators to go down there were a bit scary, noisy, and shaky. Not that the elevators to the rooms looked much better.
Stains on the walls and scratches on doors and doorway...come on clean up a little.
In my floor somebody spilled m&m candies on the floor in front of the elevator and it just stayed there the whole day.
Also, I left my room at 8am and although the maid was working four doors down the hall at that time, when I came back at 1pm for a nap my room wasn't ready yet.
In general the service at the front desk and restaurant is good and that's why I didn't give them only one star. The front desk people were very polite, professional and helpful, so are the restaurant servers, and the girl at the gift shop was very nice and prompt. It's obvious that the place put a lot of emphasis on good service.
They just need to put the same emphasis on cleaning and refresh their rooms (and towels).
