  • If you want to see Old Las Vegas before the mega casino complexes that get there own zip code, this is the place for you. If you want a lively atmosphere, drop by on a Friday or Saturday night. This place has a lot going for it all within several square blocks. It sure has changed over the years. The first time I visited Las Vegas, you could still park on Freemont Street. There are plenty of places to eat with some cool and up and coming restaurants and cool local bars on East Freemont. There are many food options in the area to cater to almost everyone's taste and budget. If your looking for a more budget friendly Vegas vacation, Freemont has it for you. They have bands that play for free in the evening at the outdoor venues. Several of the casinos have dancing girls for that show girl atmosphere. The LED show is cool to watch.
