I'm a bit mixed overall about J&G steakhouse. On the one hand, it has amazing views, a trendy atmosphere, and solid steak. On the other hand, it is overpriced, not the best steak in town, and feels a bit like the hotel restaurant it is.
We went late one night but were seated next to a table with babies/toddlers (at 8:30pm), so had to ask to be moved.
They were out of the rib eye and so the server recommended the bison rib eye -- neglecting to mention it was $50. It was also a bit flavorless, dry.
Sides were okay -- creamed corn and asparagus were good.
Wine list is extensive, but again way overpriced.
I'd recommend going for happy hour to enjoy the sunset, but not necessarily stay for dinner.
