  • House of Tricks- Just as William K commented, don't go for LUNCH!!!!, horrible noise from the muliti-story apartment building being constructed directly across the street. NOISE level is entirely unacceptable as are the smells, dirt, dust and other stuff you get to breath in. My favorite out door lunch and dinner spot is not off my list at least until the construction is completed. However, tried to go to lunch this past Saturday and encountered service staff who may be feeling the pinch or maybe this place is now terrible for service. Snooty, rude staff who were not accommodating in the least, told us we needed a reservation for a table when there might have been 25 empty tables. Food is also well below the standards that I've enjoyed in the past. Potato salad dry as a bone, no flavor (maybe old). Sandwich- salmon overcooked, fishy tasting, basically a terrible lunch. I've been coming here for over 20 years, very sorry to see it in such a decline. Perhaps the owners don't care and everyone is dialing in it. My advice go elsewhere!!
