  • On our family trip to Toronto Canada, I did a rental car from this location. I rental from Jet Car Rental and also known as Economy Car Rental. If you considering booking a rental, think again.. STAY AWAY from this place. If there was a way to give minus star, that is what I want to give. I have never seen anyplace like this. They totally take advantage of the tourist. Obviously, I don't know about Toronto area but from the website, this place seems decent and price was very good. So I reserve a sedan in advance and went to this location. First of all, location is not good. Very difficult time finding this place since you have to take the train, then shuttle bus. This is alright since rental price was cheap. However, as we enter the door, employee was not happy to see us nor other customers at the place. If they don't like people, why bother running the business. There was 3 employees but all of them are so rude and customer service was terrible. When I submitted my rental agreement, they were asking this and that and so many other things to steal my money. Eventually I have paid 3 time more on auto insurance compare to rental price. Since insurance was so high, I told them that I want to use my insurance but they said no. Need actual paper of insurance. Of course, I can obtain insurance through my company or purchase insurance from online but there was no way to print the insurance document since this is ONLY form they accept. This rental company is out of nowhere and no stores near by to get help. Eventually, our daily was stuck and had to accept any price of insurance they give. Their attitude was take it or leave it. Car rental price was $158 but insurance was $436 which is crazy... Since this location was out of no where, I ask for Navigation but they were charging $15 per so I just passed on this and ask for map. If there service great, I probably rent the Navi but knowing that they are ripping tourist, I just couldn't do it. Instead I end up using Google map to guide even I had to pay for roaming charge. During my stay, I have used toll road twice since my Google map guided to this road... Few weeks later, which is today, I got a letter from this company that I used toll road twice and charge was $2.17 and $1.71. However, charging me $3.88 for the toll fees plus $100 ($50 per toll use charge) total: $103.88 They say $50 per toll charge is stated in the rental agreement. This is crazy... If you don't want to end up like me, stay away. I am so upset and going to fight for these charges but decided to leave a review so other person can know about this company.
