They saved our trip!!!
We had booked another hotel for our spring baseball trip. That place was so dirty we couldn't stay and every place I checked was booked for at least some of our days. I called this Laquinta and they were able to take us. From the first phone call to checking in the front desk was very helpful and professional. Her name was Loretta and she was just as sweet as can be, she felt bad for our experience at the other hotel and made sure we were comfortable there. We found that the whole staff at LaQunita was very friendly, we were always greeted with a smile when we walked pass the desk. Breakfast was a bonus and a nice assortment to start our day. They were doing some remodeling during our stay but the workers were very considerate and didn't bother us at all. Rooms were clean but my only complaint is that it must of been a man that designed the bathrooms, its like a nightclub bathroom lighting..so dark, even taking the only lamp in there wasn't helping much. This is the only reason I give them 4 stars. So if you wear makeup or your husband needs to shave be prepared, I can't believe that someone didn't say "this lighting is not a good idea" during the design phase. LOL Other than that, I would stay here again and will even look into another laquinta when we travel. I have never stayed before thinking they were low budget but heck it was nicer than the hotel we first booked at a lot more money. Big thanks to Loretta for finding a room for us when so many hotels were booked. Laquinta has a winner with her, great customer service and represents the company well. The location was even better for us as it was close to several ball parks, and lots of choices near by for meals.
