  • I remember driving through the original bridge frequently in my youth. It was twice destroyed in my memory, by an overweight vehicle and then again in 1975 by flooding waters. Think it was about ten years before it was rebuilt but was never opened to vehicles. It's a very authentic replica, I'm glad it was rebuilt.
